Hemp oil is an oil extracted from the seeds of the hemp plant. It is an oil rich in:
- Antioxidants
- Omega-3 fatty acids
- Omega-6 fatty acids
- Gamma-linolenic acid
- Vitamin E
- Phosphorus
- Potassium
- Sodium
- Football
- Iron
- Zinc
Hemp oil is made from hemp seeds and does not contain cannabinoids.
Uses of hemp oil:
Anti-inflammatory in diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia or inflammatory bowel diseases. It also has an anti-inflammatory effect on urinary tract infection, ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease.
High quality Omega 3. This oil offers even better results than fish oil. In addition, it is beneficial at the cardiovascular and cerebral level due to the proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids.
Osteoporosis prevention. A deficiency in essential fatty acids can cause severe osteoporosis. Hemp oil may be useful for the prevention of osteoporosis as it increases the absorption of calcium in the bones, decreases its elimination through urine and increases collagen synthesis.
Cardioprotective. By containing tocopherols, it reduces the risk of suffering from cardiovascular diseases, heart attacks, cancer and macular degeneration due to age. Hemp oil reduces blood clotting effects and improves cholesterol profiles. If ingested daily, it quickly reduces levels of both LDL (bad cholesterol) and overall cholesterol. In addition, it is a good antioxidant, with its total phenol content being higher than in other vegetable oils.
How are CBD oil and hemp oil different?
CBD oil is extracted from the entire hemp plant, that is, the stem, leaves and flowers (full spectrum), while hemp oil is extracted from cold pressing hemp seeds. Both have unique functions and effects.
CBD oil has a high level of cannabidiol and terpenes, and produces specific physiological changes. This cannabinoid interacts with the endocannabinoid system and other receptors to exert these effects.
For its part, hemp seed oil does not contain cannabinoids and does not offer the same effects, but it has a high quality of key nutrients.
